Part of a project lead by curators Nurith Goshen and Oded Friedland attempting to resolve the use/identity of undeciphered archaeological artifacts from the Israel Museum Jerusalem’s collection. 7000-year-old stone artifacts with bore cup-marks and grooves, lead to speculation on the origins of games as well as the greater shift in human organizational cognition through the appearance of man-made grids.
